      The Need for Citizens to Benefit from Electronic Banking Services of Bank Shahr

      Referring to the need to reduce the number of citizens going to bank branches so that their health and the banking network staff’s is protected, Deputy of Planning and Information Technology of Bank Shahr said: "Since the beginning of the current year, the latest and most up-to-date banking services have been provided for the citzens.”

      According to the Communication and Public Relations Center of Bank Shahr, Javad Attaran said: “Considering the upward trend and the beginning of a new wave of disease caused by the ‘Corona’ virus in the country and in order to manage, control and prevent the spread of this virus, we require the citizens to avoid commuting in the city and visiting the branches of this bank by using online banking services such as: Hamrah Shahr, Internet Bank, etc.”
      Attaran, referring to the increase of more than 40% in the use of electronic services of Bank Shahr since the beginning of this year, added: “Currently, the necessary infrastructure for citizens to use offline systems is provided more than before and they are in the best service conditions.”
      “In this regard, in order to provide better services to the customers, the electronic banking services of Bank Shahr will be updated within the framework of the Central Bank's rules, he specified.”
      Attaran further by explaining the actions of Bank Shahr in order to control and prevent the spread of Corona virus, said: “Automatic renewal of expired cards, increase of card-to-card transfer limit through ATMs, update of the bank's service software, expansion of ‘Hamrah Shahr’ and Internet Banking, increasing the limit of card-to-card money transfers on remote portals, etc. have been among the measures taken in this regard.”
      The Deputy of Planning and Information Technology of Bank Shahr emphasized: “The reputation counters of this bank are also ready to meet their needs at all hours of the day and night, with the aim of reducing the traffic of citizens in the cities as branches of the bank.”
      “More than 300 Shehr-Net counters in metropolitan and small cities, provide banking services, including withdrawals and deposits, card-based services, cash card issuance, money transfers between deposits and bank transfers, announcing the missing and blocked cards, issuance of gift cards, payment of installments of Bank Shahr facilities, blocking internet banking and mobile banking, etc. , Attaran pointed out.”
