The second round of a series of "Art for Peace" conferences with the theme of "Arts, Peace and Sustainable Development" sponsored by Bank Shahr and attended by the Ambassador of the Netherlands to the Islamic Republic of Iran, the head of the United Nations Information Center, a group of city administrators, students and the public interested in the field of “Arts and Peace” were held at Tehran's Garden Museum of Qasr.
According to the Communications Center and Public Relations of this bank, the director of Bank Shahr’s Communications Center and Public Relations department, on the sidelines of the "Art for Peace" conference outlined the broad dimensions of peace development in societies and its role in the economy and lifestyle of individuals, adding that: “Peace is the index is an effective and important indicator in determining the level of security and the economy of a society”.
Hamid Reza Azimi in this regard stated that: “The economy of the countries can have a stability and attractiveness for investments when the security levels can be evaluated at all angles and levels in those countries; at present, economic activists have different indicators for examining the attractiveness of a market, the most important of which is "Security and Peace" ”.
Referring to the popularity of Bank Shahr among the various strata of the society and the support of this bank for the country's culture and art, he said: “Bank Shahr, as an active bank in the field of cultural and urban management, has been trying to play its supportive role in contributing to the development of peace in societies, by supporting the conference of " Art for Peace ".
Stressing that the world now needs to build solidarity among human beings through strengthening dialogue, understanding and trust among human peoples, Azimi said: “The necessary requirement of this issue is paying attention to the needs of artists and expanding art in countries, especially those involved in war and violence”.
“Security and peace can probably be regarded as the most important concern of sociologists and international relations in the current complex world, which has led to investigation for possible ways of proximity and convergence of governments, intending to tie their interests in order to reduce conflicts, development of economy and reducing the poverty of the community”, he added.
Azimi continued with alluding that: “In societies where a dynamic and productive economy is ongoing in the light of peace, the status of relationship among the people of a community, and even the international relations of people and the government itself with other societies, is in a good position,”
