      In a survey conducted on the »Tehran 20« TV show, publishers, exhibitors and visitors of the Capital Book Fair expressed their 98.5% satisfaction in the bank's performance.

      According to the City Bank's Communications and Public Relations Center, CEO of City Bank, Dr Hossein Mohammad Pourzandi, last night at the »Tehran 20« TV show, referring to the bank's actions at the Tehran International Book Fair, said that this year is the third year of Bank`s presence at International Book Fair as the agent bank.
      “During these years, efforts were made to provide a decent service to book readers.”
      Referring to the motto of City Bank which is "Innovation on the Services" he said that all new banking methods were used to serve and contribute satisfaction to citizens.
      CEO of City Bank, Dr Hossein Mohammad Pourzandi appreciated the Central Bank's Technology Registration Office for providing the groundwork for the first time to use the capacity of Identity cards as the bonus.
      "This innovation, in addition to helping the environment, helped save time, because students, professors and others were not required to stand in long queues for physical bonus," said Pourzurandi.
      The bank's CEO pointed out that this year, for the first tim, the conditions were provided to receive bonus for people through three different ways which was Identity card, NFC, or their traditional credit cards. In total, 35,600 cards were requested to issue in identity cards and up to 50,000 transactions were completed in first 6 day.
      Pourzrindi continued: City Bank has opened more than 20 ATMs, 30 web kiosks, 5 wireless ATMs, 3 Mobile Counter-IED Interactive Trainers at the International Book Fair; the central City also hosted the exhibition with 16 Counter, offers all banking services required by visitors.
      “Currency Exchange counter is also active at the exhibition to provide currency services to foreign publishers and buyers of foreign books.”
      “Conditions is considered for foreign students to buy foreign books at the central bank rate of foreign currency” Poorzrandi said and added that foreign buyers with a book invoice along with a purchase transaction can go to the bank's stand change their money.
      CEO of City Bank noted that the City Bank has taken steps to meet its social responsibilities and become a social bank, in line with the cultural and scientific progress of the country and the development and development of reading.
      In addition to covering the International Book Fair of Tehran, Pourzarandi also noted that City Bank is covering all of the book exhibitions held in 32 provinces of the country.
      “According to the agreement reached with the mayors, the billboards across the city have been used to encourage people to read books in order to multiply their attendance at exhibitions.”
      City Bank CEO stated: The City Bank's presence in the provinces is not limited to holding a book fair, but over the past years, it has been invested in metro projects of metropolises.       With emphasize on City Bank`s cooperation with the Ministry of Guidance to provide cheap facilities for publishers in order to promote culture, City Bank CEO, pourzarandi said: This year, for the first time, conditions have been provided to dedicate inexpensive facilities for students as well.
      “If the students during the time of the exhibition open an account with a deposit of 500 thousand tomans with three months durability they will benefit from facilities up to 5 million USD.”
      “According to a poll conducted by the city bank at the exhibition, 98.5% of the publishers, exhibitors and visitors of the capital's book exhibitions were satisfied with the bank's performance“ he said.
