The manager of Planning, Urban Development and Information Technology of Bank Shahr announced the possibility of Issuing Check Books in Shahrnet Kiosks (VTMs) of this bank and said:" Until the end of the current year, about 70 percent of physical services of the branches will be done via Shahrnet Kiosks."
According to the report of the Communication Center and Public Relations of Bank Shahr, Gholam Hossen Tabesh Far by stressing that the increase in banking services of Shahrnet Kiosks will be pursued seriously in the current year said:" In the present time, in addition to cashing this bank's checks any time around-the-clock, the customers of Bank Shahr will able to apply for check books issuance by going to the Shahrnrt kiosks."
Regarding the reception of checks in Shahrnet kiosks, Tabesh Far said:'' After the customers go to the VTMs and are identified, there will be a video connection with the virtual branch, then the check will be scanned and processed in the virtual branch. After the controls are done, money will be deposited into the account of the person who banks with Bank Shahr. Finally, in addition to delivering a receipt, this transaction will be texted to the customer along with."
" The customers of Bank Shahr, by going to Shahrnet kiosks all over the country, will be able to open accounts and apply for check books, too", he added.
Stressing that this new service of Bank Shahr will be provided for the customers based on the Central Bank's frameworks of rules and regulations, Tabesh Far clarified that:" Delivering check books to the customers with bounced checks, non-current debts, or the ones included in Article 7 of Check Laws is forbidden." "The way of identifying the applicants of opening current accounts is also done by the virtual branch, according to the provisions of law, regulations and instructions of Anti Money Laundering", he continued. Tabesh Far by stressing that all the staff and authorities of Bank Shahr make efforts to provide the best electronic banking services all over the country, said:" Based on a targeted planning, until the end of the current year, most of the branch physical services will be done through Shahrnet kiosks."
The manager of Planning, Urban Development and Information Technology of Bank Shahr added:" Some of the services which can be provided through Sharnets include: opening current accounts, issuing and delivering check books, opening long-term deposit accounts, etc.
Stating that even one banking unit has not been added to the number of physical branches of Shahr Bank since 2014, he said:" Because of applying the attitude of moving towards electronic banking, based on the planning in advance, we are going to improve the banking services more than ever through Sharnrts kiosks." "In the near future, the citizens will be able to receive POS machines via Shahrnet kiosks," he added.
