Representative of Biggest Italian Bank Meets Bank Shahr Officials
The representative of the largest Italian bank, Intesa, and the managing director of Italconsult, the Italian top engineering consultation company, met with Hossein Mohammad Pourzarandi, the managing director of Bank Shahr, expressing their readiness to boost cooperation in different economic fields. During the meeting, Hossein Mohammad Pourzarandi gave the guests a sense of the activities carried out by Bank Shahr and its outstanding progress over the past seven years, saying that Iran and Italy enjoy rich cultures. Austria’s Erste Bank Managing Director Visits Bank Shahr Senior Directors
On the sidelines of the visit of Austrian President to Iran, the managing director of Austria’s largest private bank and his accompanying delegation negotiated with the senior directors of Bank Shahr of Iran. According to Communications and Public Relations Department of Bank Shahr of Iran, Francois-Xavier dAligny, the managing director of Erste Bank of Austria, visited Dr. Hossein Mohammad Pourzarandi, the managing director of City Bank, his deputies, board of directors’ members and directors of this bank to discuss ways for bilateral cooperation. Asian Mayors Launch First VTM of Iran’s City Bank in Qazvin
The fifth executive board meeting of Asian Mayors Forum (AMF) was jointly held by Tehran and Qazvin in three fields of transportation and traffic in the Asian cities, urban tourism in Asian cities and the culture of cities in West Asia and Middle East. The event was participated by a number of Iranian and foreign officials, ambassadors of Asian countries in Tehran, representatives of International organizations and representatives from United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG), World Association of the Major Metropolises (Metropolis), World Citizens Organization (WCO), Silk Road Cities Cooperation Forum, D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation, United Nations Human Settlements Program (UN-Habitat) and some United Nations agencies. The first virtual teller machine (VTM) of City Bank of Iran was put into operation in Aref Square of Qazvin on the sidelines of the meeting and in the presence of mayors of 21 Asian cities. The inaugural ceremony was highly welcomed. It was participated by Davoud Mohammadi, the representative of Qazvin, Alborz and Abyek people to the parliament, Rajab Rahmani, the representative of Takestan people to the parliament, Masoud Nosrati, the mayor of Qazvin, and the Islamic city councilors. According to the Communications and Public Relations Department of City Bank, addressing the inaugural ceremony, Dr. Hossein Mohammad Pourzarandi expressed hope over launching VTM of City Bank in Qazvin and said this machine was put into operation considering the policy of this bank in line with developing electronic branches. Shahrnet (city net) stands act like the branches of City Bank and offer some banking services for 24 hours a day, he stated; adding that in these stands the citizens enjoy virtual connection with the experts of the electronic branches and conduct their banking affairs more easily.
